In PH you can go to Help, About, and controllers and it will list the firmware version of the PLM.

By the response you posted, it looks like firmware version is 63

LOL I knew that. Don't know why I didn't do it, though! Thanks.

New PLM installed. Still 63, so, we'll soon see.

I went about 3 weeks with mine before I had a failure then they happened frequently. Am still on the road so it will be awhile before I contact SH.

Grr. PLM #2 locked. As before, the last command sent was X10.

For the record, the new PLM is v2.8 (previous one was 2.75).

I had two lockups last night. Hunting possible sequences that lead to failure.

I did notice that when it's locked, ph_getinsteonlevelrt seems to hang. If it does time out, I didn't wait long enough to see it.

Tony, as I remember when mine locked up ph_getinsteonlevelrt, which I use for error recovery, was running and when I had a failure it runs up to 5 times. It looped for 5 times on all my Insteon devices so it does appear to time out.

I wonder what you and I are doing that others are not. Still on the road so when I get back next week no telling what the house lights will look like.

Another few lockups, all after my X10 sink light was turned on/off. Swapped it with a spare Insteon LampLinc. Watching for the next offender...

Grr. Last night, I had another lockup with the last good transmission being X10. Something was setting off a motion detector in the basement, and I have an appliance module that controls a fluorescent fixture down there.

I had no failures while I was gone for 4 weeks but the appliance module I have a TV on did not have a load on it as the TV was turned off. This is also the module I was having a lookup with. I’m back to regular operation now and will try and trap it when it occurs.
