How do I use Timed Event Formulas? An example is the 4th of July which is datetime(date(year(today()) + [INCREMENT],7,4),00:00:00). I haven’t figured out how INCREMENT works yet.

It looks like you replace [INCREMENT] with a value. In the above formula if you replaced [INCREMENT] with a 1 the formula with verify to July 4, 2009. If you replaced it with a 2 then it would get you July 4, 2010. I assume the other timed event formulas work the same way altho I haven't tried them.

That’s real interesting. I wonder what the intent was or better yet how does this work. Halloween also has a [REFTIME] and that’s a puzzle.

The Timed Event Formula are used in the Frequency field of a timed event.

You can use them to run macros or whatever on that particular day.

I believe INCREMENT does just that. It increments the year in the July 4 formula so that you can create a timed event that fires each July 4.

You can create Timed Event Formula for birthdays too.

So, if I got this right, when I set the Frequency field to July 4th and give it a Raw Formula the formula will execute the next July 4th. I gather INCREMENT is an internal thing.

That's correct. But be sure to adjust the reference time. The default is 00:00:00.

Thanks for the help Brandy… I won’t need to build one for my birthday as yesterday was it and the rest of the nation.
