          Hi PH'ers,

Need some help. I have a program(XLOBBY) that starts an instance of Winamp and I want to be able to reference that same instance of Winamp and use ph_winampctrl to control it. PH doesn't recognize that an instance is already running. I get a return code of 2. Has anyone been able to do this? Just to let you know I've tried the reverse, i.e. have PH start an instance and then have XLOBBY reference the PH started instance, but XLOBBY will only use the instance it creates.

 Thanks

Do you have the correct path to Winamp in the pwrhome.ini file in the Winamp section?

I can launch Winamp manually and then control it from PH without issue.

Have XLOBBY open it's instance of Winamp. With it running, go to Maintenance|Window Spy in PowerHome and open the Window Spy screen. Move your mouse over the title bar of the XLOBBY version of Winamp. Make a note of the "Class". Copy this class to the "Class" parameter under the [Winamp] section of the pwrhome.ini file and see if that makes a difference.

 Dave.
